Cape Cod Sharks 16 and 19 & Under Girls - The Sharks split seasons will begin late August (games start late September) and continue through the Cranberry Classic Tournament that is Thanksgiving weekend at Tabor Academy.

For more information call 508-246-4959, or send email to the Sharks Director and coaching staff at sharks@capecodwaves.org 2008-2009 Sharks Season May 2008 – Fourth annual spring tailgate cookout and pickup hockey game – both Sharks teams will play some pickup hockey while the coaches work the grill. Summer tournament – The Sharks have played in the Chowder Cup (Foxboro and Walpole) the past two summers (www.proamhockey.com). This year’s Chowder Cup is August 1-3. We will do this depending on player availability. Alternates or U16 Sharks may fill in as needed. We can consider other summer tournaments. We could consider practice ice as well (depends on your schedule and interest). The cost of summer ice and tournaments is not included in tuition. NEGHL Season – Practices will begin late August. From September – November, practices will likely be Friday 9 PM at Tony Kent Arena. You should also participate in a weekly skills session (usually Monday or Wednesday night). NEGHL games will be on Sunday only, from late September to November. Home games will be at Tony Kent Arena. Sometimes players are asked to fill in for one of the other Sharks teams, schedule permitting. Away games are on Sundays and cold be anywhere between Connecticut and New Hampshire (get ready to car pool!). 2008 Thanksgiving Cranberry Classic – The Sharks teams play in our own tournament, November 28-30. 2008 Polar Bear Tournament – The largest girls tournament in the U.S. is held after Christmas and before New Years. Teams will be entered in early October. This is always a challenge with working around the public high school schedules. 2009 Mass Hockey Championship – Usually held in March. Teams must be entered before November 1, 2008. Limited practices will be held in March. April 2009 – Brampton Canadette Tournament held Easter weekend. Participation depends on interest.
